Songs Against Slavery at Hope College
Wednesday, November 15th, 2017
7:00 PM
On Wednesday, November 15 at 7:00 P.M., Songs Against Slavery is partnering with Hope College and Hope College Campus Ministries to bring awareness to the issue of sex trafficking that is happening in West Michigan.

There will be live music by Grace Theisen Music. M Brooks and Daniel Branch-all of whom are Hope College Alumni.

Grace is now a 26 year-old Nashville based singer-songwriter who is also one of the co-founders of Songs Against Slavery. She will be debuting her second EP, Simple + True, at this show. This event is free and open to the community but concert goers will be highly encouraged to give a donation.

This event will benefit the YWCA Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. They are in the works of opening up Michigan’s first fully comprehensive anti-sex trafficking facility to aid trafficking survivors - which is where the money raised from this event will be allocated.

Doors: 6:30 P.M.
Tickets: Free with a suggested donation!
