THEY'RE BAAAACK and ready to ROCK just one more time at The City Winery - they'll be taking some tables out, so everyone can stand up front and dance and have a real good time!
We may be back in ATL in 2018....AND We have just added JAMES HALL formerly of Mary My Hope to the bill!!! DONT MISS IT!!

Once upon a time Michelle Malone, Phil Skipper, Billy Pitts, Jonny Daly and Joey Huffman were in a band called Michelle Malone and Drag The River. They were signed to Arista records, and their single, Big Black Bag, started climbing the Billboard hot 100 charts. The band went from the van to the bus, and toured for several years from ATL to LA, NYC to Miami with some other famous rock bands like ZZ Top, Johnny Winter, and the Skynard folks, until they decided to disband in 1992. Since then, each has continued to tour and record with other projects including Keith Richards, Georgia Satellites, Hank Williams Jr, Sugar Land's Kristian Bush, Tinsley Ellis, Kevn Kinney of Drivin' N Cryin' and others. Now, with the addition of Doug Kees on guitar, the band is back to make more music together! Come spend a few hours in the big black bag - it only goes back to the good times!
