A true classical music superstar, Grammy-winning violinist Joshua Bell first gained fame for his incredible virtuosity and beautiful tone at the tender age of 17. Since then, he's released more than 40 recordings, many of which hit No. 1 on the "Billboard" classical charts, and was the solo performer on John Corigliano's Oscar-winning soundtrack to "The Red Violin". Hailed as "imaginative, technically gifted and altogether extraordinary" ("The Washington Post"), Bell joins the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the gorgeous Hollywood Bowl to perform Lalo's romantic masterpiece "Symphonie espagnole", a technical feat of rhapsodic complexity -- and an incredibly fun crowd-pleaser. Also on the program are "Fireworks" and "Petrushka" by Stravinsky.
