Christine Collister and Michael Fix are a dynamite combination. Two truly world class performers, on stage together in an intimate concert at Fulford Village Hall.

Christine, who hails from the Isle of Man, has a career which spans an incredible 29 years; both as a solo artist and singing with such luminaries as Richard Thompson, Clive Gregson (Any Trouble) and Dave Kelly (The Blues Band). With a voice that has to be experienced to be believed, she is a powerhouse singer whose style crosses many genres, from classical, to jazz, to blues, to soul and all the stops in between. Christine first came to the attention of the public as singer of the theme tune to the BBC TV adaptation of Fay Weldon's novel 'Life and loves of a she devil', since when she has released more than 20 albums and performed on many others. Most recently seen in Stoke on Trent playing with the fabulous all female collaboration 'Daphne's Flight'; Christine has been described as one of the finest grown up vocalists on the planet and we are delighted to be seeing her back in The Potteries so soon.

Born in Wollongong and now residing in Queensland Australia, Michael Fix is widely acclaimed as being amongst the world's finest acoustic guitarists and has won three 'Golden Guitars' and numerous other awards in his home country, As a teenager Michael was mentored by the legendary Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, since when he has toured the globe tirelessly; amazing audiences along the way with his fretboard wizardry. As well as having a long solo career, Michael is also known for his time in the popular Sydney based 80's Folk/Rock band 'Hat Trick' and most recently won plaudits from critics and audiences alike, for his ground breaking performances with singer Christine Collister

These are two incredible artists who will take you on a fabulous musical journey, each song charged with powerful emotion. Be prepared to be amazed by the astonishing combination of their talents as they make you laugh, cry and tap your toes in equal measure.
