Multiple Grammy-winning violinist and LA Phil fave Gil Shaham brings his warm tone, flawless technique and engaging stage presence -- along with his priceless 1699 "Countess Polignac" Stradivarius -- to Walt Disney Hall for a intimate recital, accompanied by pianist-composer Akira Eguchi. Kicking off the concert with 20th-century works by Kreisler and Prokofiev, Shaham reaches further back for pieces by Franck and Saint-Saens. But he's also set to perform two works he recently recorded: Bach's Partita No. 3 and Israeli composer Avner Dorman's "Nigunim: Hebrew Melodies." Experience this true classical rock star live, in the impressive environs of DTLA's Walt Disney Concert Hall.
