Its 2017 and The Slackers are back bringing their mix of Ska, Reggae, Soul, and Rock N Roll to 90 different cities this year. In a few select cities, the Slackers are playing 2 nights in a row and they are playing a different album each night.

The first night is their album, 'Red Light', from 1997. It was their first release on Hellcat records and the first album they did national and international touring behind. It features three of our most popular tunes, 'Married Girl', Watch This', and 'Rude and Reckless.' Its a dark, moody album that established the Slackers signature niche of "Jamaican Rock n Roll." A special 20th anniversary 180 gram vinyl edition of Red Light is being reissued this year on Pirates' Press.

The second album, Peculiar is from 2005, its the slackers most political album.
It features the liberation anthems, 'International War Criminal', 'Keep It Simple', and a cover of 'I Shall Be Released.' It also contains one of the Slackers better known ballads, the soulful, 'What Went Wrong.' With the current political climate the band feels that its time to play these songs again.

The Slackers will be playing 2 nights at the Underworld in London. October 18th will be Red Light, October 19th will be Peculiar.
