About Atoms Fall

Spinning through the air and creating sonic chaos is exactly what Atoms Fall does best.

Hailing from the Southwest, where the atom was first split and put fear into mankind, is Atoms Fall. With material that blends the catchy hooks of Shinedown with the uniqueness of Rage Against The Machine, they have quickly built an ever-growing fan base in their home town of Phoenix, Az. They combine a strong work ethic and songs that cross genres but always have the same sonic source.

The band consists of vocalist Jeff Crawford’s powerful yet unique vocal style in the realm of Chris Cornell and Myles Kennedy. Jeff is a proven vocal talent that over the past 10 years and several different regionally successful projects has finally found a home and taken his place among the best singers in Arizona.

Guitarist Mark Collins has been pushing the boundaries on what it means to play guitar for over 17 years. His sound is incredibly unique and unparalleled; if you listen closely you may hear a little of Mark's influences from Deftones and Tool.

Grant Higgins has been playing music for over 20 years and has traveled all over the world performing, learning, and expanding his musical possibilities. He is melodic by nature and music is his life. Grant's range of influences is immense as he listens to almost everything.

Jason Gain started playing drums at a very young age and has been working on projects with Jeff for the past 10 years. His solid sound and hard rock sensibilities can be traced directly to his time spent listening to Sevendust, Korn, and Disturbed.

Their first single, "Sin Eater", is from their debut full length release Tears for the Useless. The 2013 release was tracked and mixed by producer Michael Beck (Abigail Williams, Paisty Jenny, Knights of the Abyss) and mastered by Brad Vance (All That Remains, Plain White T’s)

Atoms Fall has shared the stage with great local and national bands alike, such as Saving Abel, Fuel, Smile Empty Soul, The Sammus Theory, Cage9, Back From Ashes, and many more. They have been featured on 98 KUPD's 2012 Playdio competition alongside some of Arizona's finest talent, garnering praise from Holmberg's Morning Sickness and helping them to widen their fan base.

Working closely with producer and mentor Michael Beck of SoundVision Recording, the band released their debut album, Tears for the Useless, in April 2013. In the summer of 2014, the band put their own tours together and began making connections with venues, promoters, and booking agents to continue touring on a larger scale.
