Sagamore

Having spent the last two and half years pursuing inspiration across continents, and realizing their musical vision in the hills of Aireys Inlet, Sagamore are back with their debut album, Charlemont Reef. The resulting collection of songs span from heartfelt, blue eyed soul to afro funk laden grooves. The album's eclectic mix of sounds is banded together by timeless songwriting and thoughtful arrangements; a product of the group's long running friendship and mutual, musical understanding.

Save for an annual summer show at the Wye River Pub, Sagamore have withheld from regular live performances while working on the production of their debut record. However, with Charlemont Reef set to be released on Melbourne label Dusky Tracks in the latter half of 2017, the band is gearing up to hit the stage once more and launch the album into the outside world. With a swagger of new songs and a great desire to share them with audiences near and far, the release of Charlemont Reef is shaping up to be an exciting and much anticipated milestone, in the musical journey of Sagamore.
