Point 08

Point 08 was formed in 2013 with the intent to bring a different sound to todays music scene. Always a crowd favorite by fans young and old, Point 08 has developed a sound that bridges decades and appeals to metal and hard rock fans of all ages. Although the band has had to deal with a fluctuating lineup, the goal has remained the same; To bring their own twist into the modern rock and metal scene. Point 08 has received radio play on local terrestrial radio such as 99.5 The X, as well as worldwide airplay on internet shows such as Uncharted Kaos on Neue Regel Radio and Maniacal Music. They have shared the stage with nationally touring acts like Kelen Heller, Wayland and Silent Stories. Vocalist Eddie Stancil won Best Male Rock Vocalist at the 2014 Carolina Music Awards, and was nominated again in 2015. Point 08 has been featured in several local newspaper articles, and has been interviewed for magazines such as Sceneazine, PopVultr, and Metal-Temple.
