Nico Parisi

Nico Parisi began his career in 1996 at iconic Belgian club Atmoz . already at the age of 14 he was spinning records . from all types of music to dance , anything he could spin to make people dance came into play . Soon he knew the love and passion for electronic music and that it would change his life . In 1997 it really started for Nico , not only did he play in the best club in Belgium but he started producing his own tracks with his first release on Atmoz Records and signed a contract with Antler Subway (EMI) Music . And not only under his own name but also under the project Aqualords and scored hits such as Basstrain , Witches , The Beginning , Children off The Demon , No Bulshit , Evolution . Nico had also done several famous remixes for top artists. His most famous was 'Extreme Trax 'Don't Hold Back' 'and Nunca ' House Of Doom' . Nico remix of Nunca was also released on Tiesto's label 'Black Hole Recordings in 1999 . 'Now his career had really taken off and he was playing in many top Belgian clubs . Nico also got noticed abroad and was booked in the early 90s at Club Pacha Ibiza , Bora Bora and even in South Africa Johannesburg . These were times to remember for Nico . Over the years in 2006 the digitalization of the music market began and also for the clubs it was the end and beginning of the Festivals . In 2006 Nico started his own Label Danza Records . His first release on 12 inch was immediately a hit , Nico Parisi & Erik Hub 'Metro’, was in a short time at Nr1 in the chart of the famous Armin Van Buuren. But it soon became clear that releasing vinyl records was no longer profitable due to digitalization. So it was a more difficult period for Nico as clubs closed and the market changed . But after the rain comes the sun. In 2011 Nico was offered a contract with Bonzai Progressive . This was the beginning of a new adventure . Here he could live out his passion for progressive music with his first release together with Airwave ' Romeo and Juliet . Several releases were released with one of the most famous being 'Caress' this release was picked up by Paul Oakenfold and featured on his compilation Dj Box 2014 . The Dj life was back in full swing and was asked several times at Tomorrowland and Pukkelpop which for Nico was the highlight of his career so far . Nico continued to produce and also together with top producer Gai Barone where together they released their famous track 'Perla' . In 2017 there was a foreign tour with performances in South America , Spain and Italy . Things were going well for Nico but then came the world pandemic and the whole music world collapsed . It was another two difficult years for Nico and all the artists around the world . The only thing you can do during a pandemic is produce music until the day came when everything would open up again and life would return to normal . In 2021 , that day came and we could finally start playing and releasing music again . Nico's music style had changed a bit over time and also liked to play Melodic House & Techno with progressive combined . Nico was back in demand at festivals and Pat Krimson's Atmoz concept was again a great success. After a long period of pandemic a lot of time was spent in the studio and releases followed each other including a track together with Monotique '1001 Night' and a remix of Gain Barone which was supported by D-Nox . But then disaster struck and Nico was involved in an accident and became completely paralyzed after a failed operation . Nico had a guardian angel and this was the most difficult period in his life . After months of rehabilitation everything came right again , but the outlook on life changed , but in the good sense . With even more will to live . For his latest Album in collab with Franco La Cara Nico chose the title Guardian Angel. Nico is now even more driven and realizes that you only have one life and you better seize it with both hands and, above all, don't worry about the little things .
