Formed May 2012 when Jack Robson (Lead Guitar) posted an online advert looking to start a band, noticing that Jack have very similar influences Stephen Kitapci quickly responded. After talking shortly the agreed to meet and jam, and soon after the first half of TERAS was born, although known at the time as Scythe of War. Stephen then quickly brought in death metal vocalist Dom Mooney who was then recruited as full time vocals, This formed the core of the band Scythe of War in which a few more practices in and still looking for a bassist and Rhythm guitarist the name was changed to TERAS. Very shortly after this change Aaron Sonley contacted the band about taking on bass duties, however Aaron never played bass in the band and was almost instantaiously moved to Rhythm guitar instead. Nearly a full band Dom took over bass roles as well as vocals due to his long time experience of playing the bass. Now a full band filled with a large combination of influences and fueled with beer and their debut EP "Infection: Terror Metal" now released, the band are now set to tear up the local live scene. In November 2013 unfortunately Steve had to leave the band and we didn't have a drummer for quite a fair few months. Then Lewis joined us in April 2014 and since then we have carried on with our thrashy songs and gigging as much as we can.
