Funk D

Name a recent hit single by any artist, and Funk D most likely gave his own twist to that single. This is the reason why Funk D’s nickname is ‘the Bootleg King’. His bootlegs and original productions have been globally played more than 1,500,000 times, and are supported by the biggest artists in the Electronic Dance Music scene. Think of names like David Guetta, Roger Sanchez and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. His biggest bootleg to date is the single by Stromae; Papaoutai which hit number 2 in the Cypriote charts. Because of his ‘bootleg-skills’ it couldn’t be a surprise that artists like Akon, Mohombi, Flo Rida, Lady Bee and Yellow Claw (just to name a few), asked Funk D to do an official remix for one of their singles. After releasing original productions on respective labels like Armada Main (Armin van Buuren), Tiger Records and Energetic Sounds, Funk D’s biggest single has yet to hit the shelves. This year (2015) he will release a collaboration with the Belgian DJ duo Wolfpack and many more to come. Every weekend Funk D shows the world what an incredibly energetic artist looks like. He is known to be a bomb of energy, ready to explode the moment he starts his first tune of his set! This resulted in his own concept; Mayhem. This concept is most likely going to visit your country, as Funk D’s touring schedule for 2015 is extraordinary. Mayhem and Funk D will tour the United States, Caribbean, Spain, Italy, Mauritius, Morocco, Cyprus, Israel, Egypt, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Austria, Portugal, India and of course; the Netherlands.
