Cherokii

Two piece punk n' roll band formed in Oxford in June 2015. Cherokii were quickly tipped as the local 'band to watch' in 2016 and have gone on to gain a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts on the Oxford music scene. Sitting between Royal Blood and Slaves, Cherokii with their intense high energy stage shows culminating in the misuse of instruments, massive riffs, turning the entire venue into a stage (bars included) and megaphone driven songs resulting in a labelling as "Royal Blood on steroids".

The band have seen their demo 'Warehouse' and first single 'Hurricane' with B-side 'The Boy That Cried Wolf' gaining airplay through BBC Introducing. In just their second full year as a band, Cherokii have already fortunate enough to have supported Raven Eye on there last UK tour as well as playing the O2 academy Oxford three times most, recently supporting Electric Six as well as performing summer 2017 festivals including Wychwood Music Festival, Common People, Riverside, OXROX and DPM in Repaix (France). Before closing out the year with a Sold Out headline show at Wheatsheaf Oxford. Continuing their current accession 2018 looks to be a massive year for Cherokii to establish themselves as the national 'band to watch' having conquered the Oxford music scene.
