Philipp de Castro

Philipp de Castro also known as Manycure is a Portuguese producer from Lisbon. He is one of the founders of the collectives Human Afterall and EGO, has works edited by Micro Digital, Berlin based KODX, and most recently by Karakter Records from Amsterdam.
Philipp is a declared self-taught musician, hungry for renewal and explorer of the less beaten path, with studio incursions where it is noticeable the obsession with sculpting sound and going for curvy routes, and his sets are filled with curious and hypnotic tracks, music that grabs hold of us not by brute force but by details, be it in the curious timbre of an instrument or a counterpoint melody.

Having played in the best clubs in Lisbon and having also passed through Porto, Braga, Algarve, Barcelona and Berlin, there is a constant study of what makes people look for music and what makes them dance.
