Her debut album 'Gazel’s Book of Souls’ is written from the perspective of characters that reside in the universal subconscious mind. The team working on the album includes Shuta Shinoda (Ghostpoet, Spiritualized, Hot Chip), Haydn Bendall (Kate Bush, Massive Attack), and Roy Pfeffer.
Since 2017, Gazel has enjoyed headline shows at the The Lexington, Borderline, The Pickle Factory, The Waiting Room, Birthdays, and St Pancras Old Church, as well as support shows at the Shepherd's Bush Empire and the Hammersmith Apollo.
Gazel’s Book of Souls explores themes of dreams, illusion, individualism, and the great mystery of the human mind.
