Marcel Reix

Marcel Reix is a Dj and Venezuelan / Spanish artist based in Barcelona. Producer and remixer of electronic music in its genres as: Deep House, Tech House and Techno. Throughout his career under the name Marcel Reix, has been performed in cities around the world like: Ibiza, Berlin, New York, Edinburgh, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, Tenerife, Girona, Bogota, Medellin, Panama and Caracas among others. He has shared the stage with artists like Technasia, Kevin Saunderson, Matthias Tanzmann, Slam, Uto Karem, Mendo, Gregor Tresher, Dosem, David Herrero, Cristian Varela, Ismael Rivas, Oscar de Rivera and Steve Rachmad to name a few. In summer 2013 he was resident DJ of Cristian Varela & Friends at Privilege Ibiza, has also had gigs on Ibiza Global Radio and Eden.

Artists like Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, Umek, Paco Osuna, Chus & Ceballos, Nicole Moudaber, Krarotte, Monika Kruse, Carlo Lio, Slam, Filterheadz, Cristian Varela, Marco Bailey, Ricardo Villalobos, Pleasurekraft, Valentino Kanzyani Pete Tong, Gel Abril, Rafa Barrios among others, have undoubted support to some of their productions, adding tools to a career that promises no doubt. Currently, Marcel works for record labels renowned as MB Elektronics (Marco Bailey), Stereo Productions (Chus & Ceballos), Kraftek (Pleasurekraft) Pornographic (Cristian Varela), NB Records (Nicolas Bacher), Stick Recordings (Alberto Ruiz) and his recent own label Fire & Fog.
