The Nitty Gritty

THE NITTY GRITTY is a Brooklyn-based cover band that hit the NYC music scene in late 2016. The powerhouse trio delivers good vibes, killer harmonies and a wide range of musical tastes. As three housemates under the same roof, they figured they'd "be dumb NOT to start a band together"...thus... THE NITTY GRITTY was born! Though this group has just freshly hit the pavement in the big city, its members are no strangers to performing on stages of all sizes.

MICHELLE RESCIGNO
Vocals/Keys | With over 15 years of experience as a recording and live performance artist, Michelle has played as a solo opening act for groups such as BO BICE, NINE DAYS and FULL FORCE. When not belting it out with THE NITTY GRITTY, she tends to her solo project, MERAKI.

TODD DOYLE
Vocals/Cajon/Drums | Todd is a founding member of THE DOYLE BROTHERS and MORE THAN ME - winner of the 2010 HARD ROCK RISING contest. The win led him to London, England with the quartet to open for SIR PAUL McCARTNEY in front of 50,000+ at Hyde Park. Over 17 years as a drummer/percussionist, he has also performed with multi-platinum artist RUSTED ROOT and New Zealand's Multi-Grammy winner GIN WIGMORE.

JEFF JARVIS
U-Bass/Guitar/Vocals | Jeff, a well-seasoned musician, performs regularly as a bassist with multi-platinum artist VERTICAL HORIZON. He is also a founding member of international indie band THE REIGN OF KINDO. Through his 15+ years as a touring musician, he's played stages all around the globe - from Brazil and Japan with TROK to remote US military bases with VH.
