As We Go

In April 2016, after many years of working on different projects in different bands, Gilbert Delgado and Angel Vargas came together to start something new. We had all the important things: experience, passion, and drive. The rest we have figured out “As We Go.” Inspired by bands like Trivium, Killswitch Engage, La Dispute, MCR, Silverstein, and Avenged Sevenfold, we’ve developed a sound that is an homage to the bands that helped us rise above hard times growing up. We work to pay that legacy forward by making new music that people can relate to when they face challenges in life. Since our inception, we’ve performed with Slaves, Dayshell, All Hail the Yeti, As Blood Runs Black, Dayseeker, Influence, In the Wake of the End, and many other bands. We’ve played in venues all around Southern California, from Los Angeles to San Diego, from the Pico Rivera Sports Arena to The Whisky a-go-go. We released our first E.P. in October 2017. “Forget Your Regrets” was not just a landmark of our two years as a band, but the culmination of the struggles we’ve overcome with each other. We’ve faced betrayal, loneliness, and even death, but we continue to strive, and refuse to slow down. Although we can mainly be categorized as a Posthardcore/Metalcore band we love to make music of all styles.
