About Base Mosquito
Surrender your consciousness to an Experimental Fusion of Electronica, Dance, Dub, Rap, Trip Hop, World and Alternative art. But don't worry. If that sounds like freaky stuff is not.! Just big deep tunes with lots of hooks to keep you on the dance floor. I guess coming from a classical and jazz background helps us be a bit more unconventional and experimental. There are 2 to 4 core members of Base Mosquito;
Ret Alex, that's me! I am the producer, composer, keyboard player and DJ/Remixer.
Gabriela Eva - Cool quirky indie vocals mixed with trip hop and singer and songwriter fusion flavours.
Jules another delisious funky dance vocals that conjures up live efx and samples during their performances!
Antarma is World Rap and Soul phenomenon that sprinkles magic and wonder around the mix.
Jay on Drums delivers all the world and other experimental percussion, and is a valued member of our team, not to mention also a good friend.
Base Mosquito played all over the world and UK and continues to spread their vision where people share their happiness on the dance floor!
They performed in Children Charity Festival - Double Trouble Productions, resident in Shoredith - Brick Lane, Various Clubs - Scala Kings Cross with Smartie Partie, Brixton Club 414, Area Vaxhall to name a few!
The band emerged from their serious passion and creativity for music, always arriving on the dancefloor floor with something fresh and constantly featuring additional artistes that are always striving to push the boundaries and being unique and quirky!
