About NitroVille

Nitroville was founded by Anglo-Scottish vocalist, Tola Lamont and German-Scottish Guitarist, Kurt Michael Boeck. On the first song-writing session two songs were born – the southern rock grinder, “Cuts to the Bone” and the stomping “Got what it takes”. Both songs were later included on Nitroville’s debut album, “Can’t Stop What’s Comin’” which was released in 2011. Despite a low budget recording and minimalist production, the numerous international reviews for “Can’t Stop What’s Comin’” were remarkably positive. Leading music magazines such as British publications, Classic Rock and Fireworks commented on the skilled musicianship, powerful vocals and solid song-writing. Leading heavy rock stations worldwide and the US in particular, began playing Nitroville tunes regularly and also invited the band for interviews - whilst New York and Montreal based rock radio shows voted Nitroville's “Can't Stop What's Comin'” the “album of the year”. International touring started in 2012, playing established venues and festivals across Germany and the UK, such as a headliner at the prestigious Cambridge Rock festival, alongside Mick Ralph (Free), Deep Purple's Don Airey and many other great artists from rock history. 2013 saw the band continuing to play internationally – including acoustic sets in Nashville and West Texas, the latter of which has always been a location for inspiration to many of Nitroville’s songs. 2014 saw Nitroville with U.D.O (ACCEPT lead vocalist – Udo Dirkschneider) as one of three main acts on the big stage in a festival near Berlin with a 10,000+ audience. Continuing to play well established venues in London, together with various gigs and festivals across the UK and Europe including the uber cool - White Trash Fast Food in Berlin, the band's focus for the rest of 2014 was on writing and refining material for their new album release. By the end of 2015, Nitroville had completed their 2nd album ''Cheating The Hangman''. The album was released Worldwide in March 2016 via record label -Target/Mighty Music (Scandinavia/USA), Bickee Music, (Japan). 2017 saw Nitroville extensively touring the UK/Europe promoting ‘Cheating the Hangman’.
Nitroville started February 2018 with a bang – as official UK tour support to Mighty Music label mate, Marco Mendoza on his Viva La Rock Tour. Nitroville are also going back out on the road with Marco as main support for his Viva La Rock Summer Tour (UK) – which starts at the beginning of June 2018.
Nitroville are also currently working on their third album which is due to be released Worldwide via Target/Mighty Music (Scandinavia/USA), Bickee Music, (Japan) later this year.
