Jose Ibarra

Based out of Los Angeles, Addict started writing when he was 14 years old. At first hated it, with time learned to love it. Songwriting for me has always been about whatever problems I have, it's been a way out of what seems to be an endless amount of problems, experiences, happiness, struggle, purpose and much more. After playing music for lots of different people, I started being approached more, and more, these people were telling me how the song that I just played... got too them. How it has helped them with whatever it is they are going through. I never intended for songwriting to be this way, but somewhere along the lyrics was relatability. This makes me feel even better about songwriting. I've learned that I not only write for myself but I now write for you, for her, for him, for anybody and everybody that has ever felt alone or literally felt anything.
