Burette and Gabrielle Douglas, the Husband-Wife duo, and masterminds of psychedelic indie-rock music group, The Cush bring a sound all their own. Formed in Dallas, Texas in 2000, The Cush features sympathetic songwriting armed with vintage tape delays and a batch of psych-pop mini suites. They recorded their self-titled debut before deciding to relocate to the cold northeast of Burlington, Vermont.
With their sophomore release on Undertow Music Collective, New Appreciation for Sunshine, which had the band featured in the Dream Machine Music Festival (UK), and plans of touring the United States in anticipation of their third release. The Douglas Husband-Wife composers bring The Cush to experimental pop alchemy of the highest order.
