About Slioch
SLIOCH (pronounced Shlee-ugh - as in loch) are a four piece metal band from the Highlands of Scotland. Named after the munro which shadows over Kinlochewe in the West Highlands, SLIOCH are a fierce new act mixing a variety of inspirations to create their own unique sound. SLIOCH recorded their first EP "Darkness Devoured" in May 2017 before taking to the stage in the months that follow. After their well received debut EP, SLIOCH returned to Wall of Sound Studio in Edinburgh to record their second EP "Ancestors Beyond the Skies" in October of 2017.
2018 saw Slioch getting into the finals of the Heavy Scotland MIND Battle and coming very close indeed! Slioch returned to the studio in April to record their third EP - "A Coming Storm" due for release in May! Expect to see more of Slioch around Scotland after the summer!
Featuring musicians from previous local bands such as Toecutter, Seed of Sorrow and Zombie Mlitia - SLIOCH are edging to get to a venue near you to showcase their rapturous and savage style.
