Willy McGee

Willy McGee is songwriter and filmmaker from Austin, Tx. Raised playing piano and guitar listening to hand-me-down records of Willis Alan Ramsey, Leon Russell & The Doobie Brothers, he’s always written and performed music anywhere and everywhere. He got the tip from Luke Bell to go make a record in Nashville with producer Andrija Tokic and there he met and made friends with a lot of really good people. A natural comic, asking you to try and take him seriously. With roots of deep electric blues in Texas, he’s matured and found the words of Tennessee tasteful.

This year 2018 he plans to release the new album “Are You Gonna Eat That?” the right way, on vinyl. The record is fun, genuine and believes it’ll be his best yet.
