You’d better buy your tickets for a Magnolia Boulevard show now because they’re right on the cusp of something big and soon tickets will come at a premium. Typically, a band will have one or two standout performers; but somehow, Magnolia Boulevard has found a stellar mixture of artists who could easily become super stars in their own right. Maggie Noelle not only channels a Janis Joplinesque voice when she belts out one winning performance after another but she also glides from one instrument to another, all while simultaneously holding the audience spellbound. Gregg Erwin’s bluesy guitar is deserving of a solo performance of its own, as is Chris Justice’s bass. Ryan Allen’s mastery of the keyboard touches the soul as surely as the ivories in a cathedral. Drummer Chad Gravitt, the elder musician in the magical mix, brings over 30 years of experience and the pure, inborn talent to which few drummers can lay claim.
