About Over The Top (FR)
OVER THE TOP is not only this B movie where Stalone returns his cap to engage some arm wrestling, it is also the name of this 4 piece band from La Rochelle (France) formed in 2010. They're back with the new EP "Greetings from" released in 2016 October .
Rocked by the sweet sounds of grunge, punk and pop from the 90s, these false ideal sons-in-law romp with large blows of power songs made for stadiums. Always with 2nd degree as main leitmotif.
On this 3rd disc, the angry tunes and the catchy atmosphere predominate. The unifying melodies are palpable and stay engraved.
A powerful singing, some rough riffs and a powerful bass / drums duo coat the songwriting, completed with back vocals and solos expertly distilled.
Authentic postcard inked with memories, "Greetings from" is a great collection of hits and anthems to sing with VU meters still in the red!
