GroundState

Groundstate was formed in the winter of 2014 by brothers Aidan and Connor Smith in Bay Village, Ohio, a small suburb outside of Cleveland. The duo teamed up with friend and drummer Matthew "Doug" Szekely and began performing with session bassists. After gaining local popularity following performances at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame for the Tri-C Rock Off and various local shows in the greater Cleveland area, the band released their debut album, Progress, in May of 2017. The band toured locally in support of the record and welcomed bassist Melia DeJongh into the fold in the summer of 2018. The quartet has been in the studio and is set to release their follow up record in the spring of 2019.
