Punishable Act

originated from the East Berlin Punk legend REASORS EXZESZ (est. 1985),
continued in 1991 as Rough Called with a stage debut at an international
festival in Nancy and changed the name to Punishable Act in 1993
hundreds of concerts later Punishable Act is still the same in the most
positive sense: we still have a lot of anger, yet we enjoy to play and do so
energetically! We don't follow trends, we never finished no school (old
school, new school, high school). Our identity is classical clean cut hardcore!
we have performed on a variety of larger European festivals:
among others "OPEN CORE", "SUMMER MADNESS", "REPTILE FESTIVAL",
"HARDCORE UNITED" and "WITH FULL FORCE".
We also went on the festival tour "SUPPORT YOUR HARDCORE - SCENE"
with RYKER'S / MURDERED ART / 3RD STATEMENT / PROPHECY OF RAGE,
furthermore we went on tours through Europe with MADBALL / CROWN OF
THORNZ / RYKER'S and on tours through Germany with RAW POWER.
Of course we did numerous gigs with the whole range of "who is who" from within the hardcore scene:
AGNOSTIC FRONT, SICK OF IT ALL, SHEER TERROR, 25 TA LIFE, MERAUDER,
SKARHEAD, D.I., NO USE FOR A NAME, BEOWÜLF, LEEWAY, PROPAIN,
SNAPCASE, IGNITE, GANG GREEN etc..
we are on stage with a stable line-up: Mike (voc), Sven (g), Botte (g) and
Mario (bg). Solely the drummer position has been vacant, so the last one to
join us was Hermann (before BLECHREIZ / MAD SIN).
throughout the years Punishable Act has produces five CD's: "Infect"
(NOISE,1994), "s/t" (NOISE, 1996), "Where it came from" (MAD MOB, 1997) and
"Against the stream" (MAD MOB, 1999). We turn up on the sampler
"We'll never be tamed".
the current CD "Anti-Vision", produced with the participation of Freddy
and Hoya/Madball, published in 2004
after the release, we went on tour, did gigs with IGNITE, STREET DOGS, BLOOD FOR BLOOD etc., made some festival-shows (WITH FULL FORCE, EASTPACK RESISTANCE TOUR, with participation on the tour-sampler, etc.)
in early 2005, we were a part of the UNITY-TOUR with AGNOSTIC FRONT, DIECAST and DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR and did a lot of other shows at now
winter 2005 / spring 2006 we spent our time in a studio and recorded
two new CD`s, "from the heart to the crowd" (good old stuff new recorded with a lot of guest-vocals, release 12.01.2007)
and "rythm of destruction" (release 02.06.2008)
