Hi friends. Here’s a little bit about me.

My name isn’t Jack. It’s actually John.

I have a dog named Oscar & he’s perfect.

I started CJ while I was on a world tour with an actor-musician Broadway show called Once. It’s based on one of my favorite movies of all time and uses music by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova (two of my idols!). It was a dream come true. For 2.5 years, I traveled the world and performed in a show that allowed me to play 7 instruments on stage next to some of my best friends. I met Glen in LA while we were playing a theatre in Hollywood called the Pantages. The conversations I had with him were what inspired me to take the leap and start releasing the music I had been writing for years.

Some of that music - a song called Viñales - found its way into the hands of some people who wanted to help CJ keep making music. After that, we put out an EP called ‘Canyons in the Dark’ & now we’ve got a new single called ‘Still Awake’. I love it & I hope you do too :)
