Evangelist Valerie Boyd

Gospel recording artist, songwriter, keyboard/organist, wife, and Mother of three, Valerie Boyd was born February 20th, in Greenville North Carolina. An offspring of a family of singers, she began singing at her grandfather’s church at the young age of three. By the age of sixteen she was awarded a scholarship for voice and piano at the world acclaimed Carnegie Hall. She went on to attend the nationally recognized high school of music and art and then studied music at Hofstra University. Valerie's professional career started as a member and lead soloist of the contemporary gospel group New York City Family. Her first solo album "Interpretations 1" captured the attention of the gospel music industry, and landed her on the cover of Cash Box Magazine. She went on to record several projects afterwards which includes "Interpretations 2", "Back Home Live" which produced her hit single "Get Me Out Jesus", "Symphony of the Heart" and her latest project "Victory". She has spanned the genre of gospel music from down home, hand clapping, foot stomping, traditional gospel music to the latest trendiest style of music, yet she has remained simply anointed. Her musical versatility has allowed her to grace the stages of Morris Cerullo, R.W. Shambach, Marilyn Hickey, T.D. Jakes, A.R. Bernard, George Bloomer, Juanita Bynum, Bobby Jones and Luis Palau. She has appeared on TBN and the TCT Networks and has performed with the gospel industry’s greatest artist such as Pastor Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, Kim Burrell, Wess Morgan, Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton and the list goes on. Her ministry of word and song touches, encourages, and brings hope through the message of Jesus Christ. Traveling nationally and internationally she inspires young and old to new relationships with the lord. Not only is Valerie Boyd an anointed vocalist, she is an ordained Evangelist and the First Lady of her church New Greater Bethel Ministries in Queens Village NY, where she is actively involved. Valerie has also founded Valsings vocal school where she teaches others to sing and further their singing careers. Names like Judith McAllister and Juanita Bynum are two of her former students. Today Valerie continues to wear many hats and take on new ventures. She currently is working on her long awaited music project titled “Simply Anointed” set for release in winter 2017. In the Gospel making world, Valerie Boyd is a standout who believes the best has yet to come. An anointed Vocalist, Valerie Boyd is an ordained Evangelist and the First Lady of her church New Greater Bethel Ministries in Queens Village NY, where she is actively involved. Valerie has also founded Valsings vocal school.
