About Crayon
Crayon were an indie pop band that formed in Bellingham, Washington in 1990. Its members were Brad Roberts, Sean Tollefson, and Jeff Fell. In the three years they were together, they released a handful of 7" singles and one full length album. Their unique style, combining heavily distorted guitar with strong twee pop elements, that some called “love rock” and others called “cuddlecore” built Crayon a cult following that still holds strong today. Crayon would certainly be included in a small group of influential bands to come out of the sleepy college town of Bellingham, Washington. Others of course would include: The Monomen, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Posies. After they broke-up in 1994, Sean Tollefson and Jeff Fell formed the popular twee band Tullycraft in 1995.
