This is not just one of the best tribute bands I have seen, but one of the best live bands and I’ve seen some legendary acts. They do justice to the amazing songwriting of John Fogerty. If you get the chance to see these guys you will not be disappointed.

About Creedence Clearwater Review

The UK #1 Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute show bring you “The Green River Tour” in 2024 & 2025 celebrating Creedence Clearwater Revival’s first US #1 Album “Green River” in full, featuring their UK #1 hit single “Bad Moon Rising”. ’Review will take you on a two hour nostalgia trip back to 1969, with all the greatest hits including Proud Mary, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Fortunate Son and many more.

Selling out venues across the world, including a short residency in sunny Bahrain, Creedence Clearwater Review are established as the UK’s #1 definitive Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Tribute among die hard fans and theatre audiences. After years of touring, dubbed as the most authentic, honest and power- packed celebration of CCR and John Fogerty, Creedence Clearwater Review now set off on “The Green River” UK tour, celebrating their US #1 album from 1969 “Green River”.
Green River features CCR’s biggest hit, the UK #1 single “Bad Moon Rising” and was penned by critics as the musical centre of the sound of CCR. ‘Review will be celebrating this album, in full and unabridged, along with a sensational two hour theatre show of America’s greatest rock band featuring all the greatest hits from 1968-1972 including Up Around The Bend, Born On The Bayou, Down On The Corner, Who’ll Stop The Rain, Run Through The Jungle and many more. ‘Review also deliver the iconic Creedence versions of hit records such as I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Suzie Q and I Put A Spell On You. The albums biggest hit "Bad Moon Rising" was released and peaked at No. 2 in the US singles chart. However, in the United Kingdom, "Bad Moon Rising" spent three weeks at number one in the UK Singles Chart during 1969, becoming the band's only number one single in the UK. The Green River album, followed in August 1969, was their first album to top the US Billboard 200 at number one, and went gold along with the single "Green River”.

Creedence Clearwater Revival were an American phenomenon. From 1968 to 1972, they dominated FM and AM radio alike – an unusual feat – with a prolific run of glorious singles. In 1969 alone, they earned three platinum discs and released three acclaimed albums, as well as playing Woodstock and most major festivals. By late ’69, Creedence were named the “biggest band in America”. By mid-1970, they could be named as the ‘biggest band in the world’, since The Beatles, their only real competition, no longer existed. “Creedence made music for everyone, for all the waylaid Tom Sawyers and Huck Finns,” proclaimed Bruce Springsteen, inducting them into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1993, “and for the world that would never be able to take them up on their most simple invitation, which is: ‘If you get lost, come on home to Green River.’”

In addition, there is a special anniversary feature in the show paying homage to Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty, who as lead singer, penned all of their greatest hits. 2025 marks both the 50th anniversary of his self-titled “John Fogerty” album, and celebrates the 40th anniversary of his biggest solo album “Centrefield”. Fogerty fans can expect to hear timeless tracks from these albums such as “Centrefield”, “Rock And Roll Girls”, “Old Man Down The Road”, “Almost Saturday Night” and the infamously penned (yet little known trivia) hit by Fogerty “Rockin’ All Over The World” featured in the show. When John Fogerty last visited the UK, ‘Review were invited to perform at the O2 Arena in the AMEX VIP Lounge, where they performed for special guests attending John Fogerty’s show at The O2 in London in October 2018, at BluesFest, when John headlined alongside the Steve Miller Band.

Dale Taylor, a seasoned professional musician and singer with experience in successful touring shows, takes up the role of John Fogerty on guitar and vocals. Considering Fogerty’s immense power and range, this is no easy task. He fulfils the lead spot like no other, delivering the same rawness and energy of the original performances. Backed up by a road hardened and experienced band of talented musicians and artists, they stick as closely and authentically to the albums and the sound of CCR as possible. Not only do they use some of the original vintage gear, instruments and wear 60s accurate outfits, they are able to conjure up the full throttle, high-energy experience of seeing Creedence Clearwater Revival live on stage in their prime. Add to the amazing music, a host of fascinating stories about the 60’s and the history of the band, the audience will be swept back in time to the heady days of Woodstock and to one of the most important musical periods in recent history. There’s audience involvement, singalongs, rock & roll dances and plenty of rousing choruses to join in on the Review’s authentic, power packed tribute to the Creedence legacy.

Six decades on, the spirit, power and quality of their iconic songs are powerfully reprised with Creedence Clearwater Review. Together, they are the best celebration of the music of CCR and Fogerty you’re ever likely to see. Creedence Clearwater Review will take you on a nostalgia trip you won’t want to miss!
