Passive Aggression

Passive-aggressive behavior refers to passive, sometimes obstructionist resistance to following authoritative instructions in interpersonal or occupational situations. It can manifest itself as learned helplessness, procrastination, stubbornness, resentment, sullenness, or deliberate/repeated failure to accomplish requested tasks for which one is (often explicitly) responsible. It is a defense mechanism, and (more often than not) only partly conscious... Formed in 2001 in a small town of Hartsgrove, Ohio by George Reid - vocals, Tony Tamburo - Guitars, Jason Sutch - Guitars/vocals, Eric J. Gutman "ThE NoRm!" - Bass/vocals and Leroy Hart - Drums. After getting their start playing out because of the production company they were running needed a band to fill a show, they started to get a small fanbase growing... Knowing that they have to up their songlist with more orignal material for their growing fans, they took a break from playing and started writing in 2002. In 2003 after realizing how much of a 'vacation' they were taking, they worked more on fine-tuning songs they have written and focused on where they wanted to go. They also saw the departure of Jason Sutch. Who enlisted in the U.S. Navy. From 2010 to 2011 The remaining members constantly played shows mostly at the Geneva On The Lake's The Cove Nightclub opening for bands like Mushroomhead, Jackie, Taproot and Cellbound respectfully. During the winter of 2011 was the departure of George Reid due to growing tension in the band. In 2012 Passive Aggression tried out a few singers. Frustrated, the band even considered on having "ThE NoRm!" take over vocal duties... Winter of 2012 "ThE NoRm!" met Danielle Klinesmith "Dani Terror" at his job who showed much interest in trying out for Passive Aggression as singer. 2013 has given them a fresh start with new originals that are heavier and faster with new lead singer Danielle Klinesmith "Dani Terror". Dani Terror first appearance was Febuary 2013 at a party Passive Aggression was asked to play at. She was officially their singer that night after the party. Already in a year of the new line-up, they have 8 songs written. And are doing constant touring and song writing. They are currently going to Nexus Sound Studio in Warren, Ohio September of 2014 to record their first demo album consisting of 5 songs. All original, Lyrics written by Dani Terror and "ThE NoRm!". And music by Passive Aggression.
