He’s Louisiana born but Tennessee’s adopted son.
Guitar slinger and road warrior Cotton Clifton has electrified honky tonks across North American as side man to Single Lock Recording artist The Kernal for nearly a decade. Together they’ve opened for the likes of Grammy award winner John Paul White, two time AMA winners Shovels and Rope, and singer/songwriter Andrew Combs. Cotton has collaborated with the Kernal on 3 studio albums and White even borrowed Clifton’s guitar virtuosity on the 2019 single, ‘The Long Way Home.’
Guitar slinger and road warrior Cotton Clifton has electrified honky tonks across North American as side man to Single Lock Recording artist The Kernal for nearly a decade. Together they’ve opened for the likes of Grammy award winner John Paul White, two time AMA winners Shovels and Rope, and singer/songwriter Andrew Combs.
