DJ Kincaid

DJ (Jayson) Kincaid fell in love with house music as a teenager at his first underground warehouse party in San Francisco in 1992 and was immediately inspired. In 1996 he purchased his first two Techniques turntables and it was on from there. In house music Kincaid found a love and passion for djing and has been doing it ever since. Kincaid’s affiliations (ATM)About The Music and Grooves-in-the-Park produce some of the best outdoor daytime park parties, night-club events, boat parties, community festivals and gatherings at home in Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been throwing these popular events with a couple of his good friends since 1999, which continue on presently. These popular gatherings feature live dj’s from all over the globe, BBQ, dancing, culture and amazing crowds which continue to spread the music, vibe and love today. In addition to his events in the bay area, Kincaid also dj’s as a special guest at many venues out of the city, state and abroad. In his many years spinning records, Kincaid has very much enjoyed playing alongside some of the most talented dj's and producers in the business including Doc Martin, Mark Farina, David Harness, Timmy Regisford, and many more… Always close to the music, Kincaid has previously worked at Choice Cuts Records in Santa Barbara, Tweekin Records in San Francisco and part-time as the artist and relations assistant for Om Records in San Francisco. Kincaid also holds a Bachelors of Applied Science Degree and has many years of experience working in the sound engineering field which has also landed him many gigs with artists including Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, KD Lang, George Clinton, and many more; which also helps ensure that his own events are tuned in and sounding just right!
