Since emerging from the Edinburgh Metal scene in late 2015, Somaesthesia have quickly spread their reputation for Brutal, Complex and Thoughtful music through out Scotland and beyond. In the wake of releasing their debut release, 2016's "Path of least resistance" EP, the band found new audiences following supports slots with such varied international acts like Cryptopsy, Igorrr and Carbomb. The band after a successful 9 month promotion of their debut EP, took a 7 month hiatus to regroup and focus on writing their next release, but have finally returned to playing live in anticipation of their as yet untitled album.
