The Meeck

The MEeck is the Alt-folk project by Perth based, singer/songwriter Shane Khin, who has recently released his 2nd album "Dormant Voices".
Focussing on storytelling, the lyrics are always at the forefront of any MEeck song.
Blending rock, pop and experimental into his music, the MEeck has been able to add his own flavour to the Alt-folk music scene.
When performing live the MEeck is a solo act, which uses acoustic and electric guitars, effects pedals, a looper and stomp box to bring his music to life.
Back in 2015 while promoting his debut album "Diversion Ends", Shane continued songwriting, using it as a helpful way to deal with his depression and anxiety. Although it wasn't until writing the track "Dormant Voices" that he saw the potential to write another album and possibly help others who have their own battle with the black dog.
