Zuzu Welsh Music

I began playing guitar in 1974, although I didn't really learn how to play at all until 1976. I learned some chords, learned a lot of old Beatles songs on an old inexpensive acoustic guitar. I quickly graduated to a Guild acoustic acquired at a pawn shop in Brevard, NC. In short order, I migrated to playing electric, played in a few bands, hung out with musician friends, formed a band called Harlequin Jones, wrote an albums' worth of material with my band mates, and have been performing ever since. Through years in the original/cover scene in the Raleigh NC area, to nearly 7 years in St. Louis playing with blues/rockers Reality In Exile and dance/pop band Jigawatt, forward to present-day playing in Asheville with blues-rockers Pipapelli, original acoustic rockers The Zoodles, appearing with the BJ Leiderman Band playing classic rock and Beatles, backing up Jeff Thompson, and even playing solo, my music still reflects my roots and influences.
