Zaira Dj

Zaira Dj is a project that comes to life in 2014 once back in Italy after a long stay in London, pushed by her will to express her life experiences through the music that accompanied and characterized them. She starts playing with Dj Kireevsky (famous local Dj ), who mentors her until she reaches her unique and independent style. With the beginning of 2015 various clubs in Friuli call her to play, and she starts developing her own space and steadily gathering a big following, playing also at various Italian festivals (Distruggi La Bassa Festival, Al Vapore and more...). In 2016 she becomes resident in five clubs in the Udine province (Al Lampione, Zamir, Potok, Harley pub, Trinity) gifting fans and new followers with many memorable nights. At the beginning of 2017, following her want to travel and to grow professionally, she feels the need to go back where it all began: London. She comes back with a new challenge: not be just the bystander she was before, but become the protagonist of the capital's music scene.

Her djsets go from rock'n'roll, hard/blues rock, beat, punk to nowadays indie/alternative music, with a special attention to new/dark wave, post-punk and synthpop.
