Following this with dub step remixes, boat parties, camel kidnapping and radio support from indie doyens Amazing Radio. The band was given over 40 playlists from BBC Radio 2 to ones as far afield as radio Dubai. Born out of the Cornish surf and music scene Yellowire went from strength to strength. 2013 was spent locked away in Cornwall and North West London writing and recording new material for a second album, though they still found time to support The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park and play London's Hard Rock Calling festival over the summer. Whether it's finding one of their tracks sampled for an online viral for Daft Punk or discussing how an x-ray of a bee would make perfect artwork in relation to today’s climate issues Yellowire refuse to be pigeon holed. It's profile like this that saw them finish the year landing sole support slot for The Feeling’s 2013 autumn tour. Now with a new year ahead and their second album ‘New Day Coming’ shortly to be released, Yellowire are heading out into Europe to support multi platinum selling New York artist Gavin DeGraw on his 17-date tour.
