When a reflective and soulful singer-songwriter from Dorset, Sarah de Warren, crossed paths with Manchester based music producer Feri Gyemant, the result was an unexpected, surprising and transfixing fusion of sound that led to the two forming XTALK. Although both had their respective solo projects before XTALK, Feri and Sarah had a musical connection that they simply couldn't ignore, and instantly began writing songs that pushed genre boundaries, resulting in songs that transport you to new dimensions the instant you hear XTALK's signature heavy beats beautifully and delicately contrasted with Sarah's lush vocals that call to mind hints of Massive Attack, BANKS, and Lamb, while still retaining a sound unmistakably its own. Before forming XTALK, Sarah and Feri already gained impressive momentum in their solo music careers. Feri is a full-time music producer, working with dozens of notable and recognized musicians globally. Sarah has also established herself as a force to be reckoned with as her song, High, reached the Spotify viral charts. Although XTALK recently launched, the duo has already performed in a coveted Kendall Calling festival slot and was shortlisted to play Glastonbury 2016. The live shows draw you in with ambient electronic vibes where Feri provides the beats, synths and live vocal mixing with the help of Ableton Live and Push, , Sarah sings and plays the keys, and the audience almost always falls into a haze of ethereal yet energising sound that leaves them transfixed the moment the duo begins to play.
