Witchery (Perú)

Formed in 2010 by guitarist Marco Aguilar and Jesus Panana on drums and named as Maze of Death, influenced by the old school of thrash metal and inspired by bands like Kreator, Sodom and Slayer they started to rehearse covers at REC studio on Lima, Peru. On 2012 was their debut concert at Nuclear Bar opening for Necropsya, one of the most important thrash metal bands on Peru. The band members decided to change the name of the band in order to have a name which describe what music means for them. WITCHERY was the name selected because they were truly convinced that music is all about magic and witchcraft. Later on 2015 MMX Producciones signed WITCHERY and released their first EP called “Next Victim” which contains 5 songs and a Thrash Metal version of “Demolición” by Los Saicos, a legendary Punk-Rock band. WITCHERY's current line-up was completed when Braus Goncalvez on drums, Giovanni Coletti on the bass guitar and guitar player Aquiles Solar Empire from Vulture, joined the band in 2016. A metal band with a Hardcore attitude and their honesty and passion for Heavy Metal music WITCHERY are no strangers to the ups and downs of the music business in their country (Peru) But they keep playing loudest metal inspired by Peruvian bands like Necropsya, M.A.S.A.C.R.E and Mortem. They also share stage with bands like Havok, Mortem, Necropsya, Epilepsia, Deceased,M.A.S.A.C.R.E and many others.
