The story of LA-based indie-rock band Wires in the Walls is one that is quintessentially American. This is a band that hails from everywhere and anywhere, blending instruments and influences with a diversity to match. With their broad musical background, Wires in the Walls achieve a sound that ranges from delicate and beautiful to epic and expressive. Focusing on storytelling, catchy melodies and powerful beats, they connect with listeners of all ages, backgrounds, and shoe sizes. What started as an outlet for the urban folk songs of a displaced New Yorker soon took on a life of its own with each of the five members’ contributions. Coming from towns big and small in corners of the country as far-flung as Virginia and Oregon, Wires in the Walls balance hopeful, earnest lyricism with a darker reality.
