Warfear

Warfear is a 5 piece Grind/Metal band from Long Island, NY. The zombie obsessed outfit has been steadily clawing their way through 72 inches of fresh dirt to the surface of the NY grind scene for the past 5 years. Formed in 2006, Warfear has had a number of member changes and evolutions that have brought the band from two friends writing music for fun to a serious, polished 5 piece band that has earned themselves a reputable name and a loyal following. Warfear consists of Shawn Fairhurst – Vocals, Alexa Stawecki – Bass/vocals, John Mcguckin – Guitar/vocals, Kyle Molle – Guitar, and Matt McKasty – Drums. Over 100 shows, three music videos, and one east coast tour into their career Warfear continues to push the envelope for their peers with every album. All lyrics and artwork are inspired by one thing and one thing only, the living dead. The band’s love for zombie-horror has inspired five releases of pure re-animated brutality. Their latest; “Addicted to Trioxin” has set the bar higher than ever with some of the best conceptual themes and most creative rhythms of any album in their genre to date. The band displays a unique fusion of punk, death metal, grind, and hardcore that would be as difficult to pigeonhole as it would be to replicate. Everything Warfear does is extreme; from their aggressive music to their incredibly detailed horror-inspired artwork, which is available printed on a slew of different mediums from shirts, patches, and buttons, to postcards, stickers, and posters.
