Wanted Noise

Punk band Wanted Noise formed in Pacific Beach, San Diego in 2014. Wanted Noise plays shows from Baja, Mexico, up the US West Coast to Vacouver, Canada and across to Arizona and Colorado. They began a punk rock snowboarding tour "Hit the slopes hit the stage", and are planning to take their act global. The goal is to travel the world playing tours that double as surf trips and snow trips :)

Wanted Noise is a bit of throwback to the free-for-all attitude that bands such as The Minutemen personified. The execution of their songs falls comfortably under the punk rock umbrella, but the influences at play are what set them apart. This is all apparent on their 2017 seven-song taster, Plate Lunch. Guitarist/vocalist Suri Sherman said the title was a homage to the variety-pack nature of the recordings. “The album name, Plate Lunch, was coined by our hawaiian producer. You've got your Sublime style reggae-punk vibes, your shoegaze vibes, your Sum-41 and hardcore vibes, he said. It’s like a plate lunch where you’ve got your beans, meat, and veggies. You’ve got a little sampler of everything,’”

Wanted Noise refined their sound and released skate-punk inspired studio album "Next Generation" in 2022.

In 2024 Wanted Noise is recording their next album: "Easy Listening".
