About Waiting For The Sunrise
Waiting For The Sunrise began with two friends that came together and started jamming. A new alternative rock band came to live. After five months of intensive searching they found their drummer. His joining gave an entire new impuls to the band and steered the band into a new direction. After the band first show Waiting For The Sunrise found their bass player.
The band went to the studio to produce their first demo "The Sky Tore Us Apart", and played a number of shows in support of that.
Line-up troubles however seemed to continue to haunt them, yet they always rised up and found new members.
The band went on to record their debut EP 'Anima/Animus', which lyrically deals with the weaknesses of human kind, hence the latin referral to mind/spirit. 6 tracks that aim to grip you by the throat one moment, and have you scream out your lungs the other.
The album is out now and available on shows, through mailorder over at wfthesunrise@gmail.be, at recordstore 'De Ploate' or Music Shop Rudy's in Ostend.
Just like the attitude on stage, they will never back down or play an underdog role.
