Vomit Stain

Formed May 2014, Vomit Stain got together to create a unique combo of 90"s Death Metal, 80's Thrash and Slamming Death Metal. The band Consist of vocalist/guitarist Ryan Anderson and Drummer Carrington DeAtley from their Heavy Thrash band Stone Reign, Vocalist Bill Ramey Ex-Vocalist of the Sludge Death band Motion of Chaos and Bassist Steven Miller from his band Unrestricted. Back May 2014, Ryan Anderson and Gauge Schmidt (Bassist of Psychotic Defilement) were sitting around drinking on night. Ryan asked Gauge if he wanted to start a band together. They sat there trying to come up with a name for the band. Ryan said I like the word Vomit. As they threw around a bunch of names, Gauge had said "Hey Ryan whats that on your shirt" Ryan said "What" Gauge said it's a Vomit Stain! haha! From that day on the band was know as Vomit Stain. Ryan told Gauge that he had a vocalist in mind, then called Bill Ramey, who at the time was singing for the band Motion of Chaos. Bill was having troubles with his band at the time so agreed to join Vomit Stain. Vomit Stain had a few practices with out a drummer, Ryan then came to the group and said he wanted to get Carrington DeAtley on the kit to see if it wanted the gig. At this moment Ryan, Bill, Gauge, and Carrington had a mission to create a ultra thrash based death metal with a sprinkle of brutal slam. After a few weeks Gauge came to us and stepped out as the bassist. He wanted to give his band Psychotic Defilement more attention to get them off the ground. Ryan, Bill and Carrington came together at the next practice and decided that the bassist that would fit well with the mix of music we were creating. Ryan and Bill contacted Steven Miller to be the bassist. From 2014 -2016 the band has had the line up Ryan, Bill, Carrington and Steven. November 2016 the band had to part ways with Carrington DeAtley behind the kit. We have now picked up a new drummer Mike Abbott. Since November 2016 we have been pushing hard to get the new drummer up to speed with all our songs and create new songs. 2017 will be a huge year for us. We are set to release another EP called Elbow Deep in a Gutter Slut, set to come out late August early September 2017 Throughout the last 2 years the band has released a Demo called Early Weeks, a EP called Human Collection in the Theater of Carnage and a Split with the band Organ Trail (Goregrind from Maryland) called Immoral Spawn. We are going back into the studio inJune 2017 to record a new EP called Elbow Deep in a Gutter Slut. We will be push releasing our first Full Length ablum till 2018, this album will consist of 10 tracks of sheer brutality.
