About Verónica Grados
In a car, looking through the window while nature appears and passes by, gazing at the road, That`s how JUNE sounds like. Since the age of 4 years old she was constantly roadtrippin with her parents (70`s and 80`s teens)
Those moments would stuck in her memories forever and set a mood for her vision of the world and songwriting.
JUNE was born in Lima, Peru on March 23, grew up listening to Dylan and surrounded by musicians such as German Cabieses, guitarist of Telegraph Avenue.
In 2010 she released her first LP “Satyr I`m fine”, experimental journey and reflection of the young aches, where you can find the song “so truth, dont know” based on a melody that her father made when he was just 16.
“Satyr i`m fine” had the collaboration of Christian Van lacke (guitar and keyboards), Tavo Castillo (transverse flute and steel guitar), Walo Andreo Carrillo (drums) and Jairo Zuleta (harmonica).
JUNE joined The Spiracles as lead singer in 2014 and released “Last night I dreamt about you”, written by Luis Rodriguez, album that gave them the opportunity to go on tour to Chile.
2016 was a fulfilling year, starting with having the chance to host Lucy Rose, PR for her and open her shows in Lima and Cusco, this was a breakthrough to her musical journey.
Now, with her new single “Till the end”, JUNE is in the process of recording her next EP. Soothing and sweet melodies to enjoy the road
