About Unofficial: MOJO

Louis and Andy both went to middle school together and played in the school band. Louis played the trumpet and Andy was a drummer from day one. Louis and Andy reunited at an event in the summer of 2016 after almost a decade from when they split ways for high school. The truth is, Louis has always been in awe of Andy’s talent on the kit and was ecstatic at the opportunity to try and talk Andy into becoming the velvet-wrapped anvil of ferocious rhythm that sits at the core of today’s incarnation of Mojo. To the surprise of both, and more than a little hilarity at how things were unfolding, the duo’s search for a bass player lead them to Joe, who had also attended middle school and high school with Louis and Andy, respectively. As a talented multi instrumentalist with a keen ear for harmonies and songwriting, Joe was courted heavily and finally gave in. The rest of 2016 and the first half of 2017 are history, and the future of Mojo is a bright, promising mystery. Mojo is heading into the studio to cut their first official album late in this summer of 2017 with big plans on the horizon.

Long live Rock ’n’ Roll, my friends.
