About Trupa Unda
Trupa Unda (The Wave Band) is originated in Brasov and it has been in the current setup for about 2 years. Even if most of the local bands prefer doing covers we have always been in favor of original music . We write our own songs and we have been approaching and mixing different music stiles such as: funk rock, pop rock, jazz, bossa-nova, reggae.
Our music could be described as being positive, thrilling, lively colored and intensively energetic.
The band members are quite different from each other that is why there is a diversity when it comes to musical composition.
We usually perform in Brasov’s taverns and pubs but we are basically heading towards reaching bigger and bigger audience.
Where does the name come from? It comes from the “sound wave” and the reason behind choosing such a name is that the band wants to send out to their audience a cool vibration and energy.
We enjoy both electric and acoustic gigs.
